Y’all, I’ve got so many emotions surrounding the closing of BIRTHFIT Dallas. So very many. The biggest one is peace though, if I’m 100% honest with you and with myself – which I hope you know that I aim to be all the time, after these last 5 years. While I truly believe that the original mission of BIRTHFIT is amazing and one of the best things in the world ever to be conceived, I cannot continue to align with the direction that it has taken.

I am here to empower and educate mothers. That’s it. And I’m for sure not stopping doing that.

I am NOT here to scare people into an “ideal birth” or an “ideal postpartum” or anything of the sort. Life is messy. Plans change. Our paths take us to our destination in a meandering sort of way and I love embracing that journey. It’s your journey, not anyone else’s. Life is crazy – I mean, I get it as much as the next woman. And, really, our family motto is #delightfulchaos after all. I NEVER want self care to become another thing for us to add to our never-ending to do list. I want to meet you where you’re at in this adventure, and I want to hear where you are at and where you want to go. And, if you’re open to it, I want to help you and cheer for you and love on you while you do YOU and your growing family. Seriously. That’s it.

So, I’m not going anywhere, y’all. I’m here for you. I practice chiropractic in North Dallas 3 days per week over at Pro Motion Chiropractic and would LOVE to see you there.

I love you all!

Dr. Jamie
