Yes! During pregnancy, our bodies ramp up production of a hormone called relaxin – which is responsible for helping the ligaments in the pelvis relax so things can spread for baby to exit! It’s an amazing hormone, but causes ALL of our joints to be a little looser and more prone to not moving optimally. Specific adjustments to the pelvis and release of the surrounding soft tissue not only help mama feel better, but all for perfect pelvic motion (say that 3 times fast!), which allows babe to squiggle into that optimal position for birth!

No. Chiropractic focuses on the removal of subluxations or nervous interference in the spine, so that the body can function at its optimal level. There is not a specific adjustment for specific conditions. Instead, the body is able to heal itself as best as it can when all nervous interference is removed from the spine and body.
We can not only adjust the knee, but we will also look and see if the knee is a symptom rather than the cause. Often, a misaligned spine will cause symptoms elsewhere in the body, due to the body attempting to adapt to the spinal misalignment.

NO. Research has shown that Chiropractic can help boost patients immunity. So, unless it is vomitous, come on in and let us help you get better quicker! We clean all surfaces with disinfectant after an ill patient.
